Congratulations to Alena Reta and Samia Akbar on setting new ATM event records! Samia Akbar broke the overall female event record (56:20) set by Susan Molloy in 1995. Akbar of Herndon, VA posted a time of 55:25. Alena Reta broke  the overall male event record set by MAJ Dan Browne in 2004 (47:32). Reta, who is sponsored by MarathonGuide.com had a time of 46:59.
