Task Detail
Gather garment bags from runners prior to the race
When runners arrive at your garment station, ensure they are in the correct location and give the them a clear plastic bag. Tell runners to find the garment tag on their bib, remove it from their bib, attach it to the garment bag, and secure the bag tightly. For security reasons, only accept clear plastic bags from the runners. Report any unclaimed or suspicious bags to your coordinator. PMO will provide a security check. ATM is not responsible for any loss.
Retrieve bags from runners following race
When runners return to your garment station following the race, request their race number corresponding to their garment bag. If they do not have a race number, don't provide them with garments. No exceptions. Report any unclaimed or suspicious bags to your supervisor.
Support clean-up of garment station area
You will work with an ATM contractor who will collect, box, and deliver
abandoned clothes that are left at the Start Line. Help move these
clothes to the Lost and Found tables. If garments are still
unidentified when the tables are taken down, they will be placed in
between trash receptacles on the grassy field near the garment check
stations.
Staff You Interact With
The contractor (Party Perfect) will remove any remaining start line garments at exactly 1:00 PM (1300). The contractor will also break down and stack tables and chairs and dispose of all trash. Work with your garment check coordinator and PMO to check any unclaimed or suspicious bags.
