Army Ten-Miler - Solutions Desk Volunteer

Position Overview

As a solutions desk volunteer (on Friday and/or Saturday), your job is to correct problems that relate to runners' registration information (this includes correcting runner's data, reassigning numbers, etc.) You might also solve runners' problems related to upgrading t-shirts.

Location/Time

This year, packet pick-up and registration will take place at the DC Armory, 2001 East Capitol Street S.E. (adjacent to RFK Stadium) in Washington, DC.

Volunteer Shifts

	Friday October 22nd	Saturday October 23rd
Shift 1	9:30 AM - 12:30 PM	9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Shift 2	2:00 PM - 7:30 PM	12:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Shift 3		3:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Work with runners and contractors to correct runners' registration data.
• Specifically:
• Make corrections
• Reassign numbers
• Talk to any runner who insists he/she purchased an upgraded shirt (but was not identified on the upgrade list). If a correction needs to be made, craft a note to authorize pickup of an upgraded shirt.
