Army Ten-Miler - Information Table Volunteer
Position Overview
As an Information Table Volunteer (on Friday and/or Saturday), you are responsible for answering general questions about the race, weekend activities, hotel layout and vendor locations. At least two persons should staff the desk at all times.
Location/Time
This year, packet pick-up will take place at the DC Armory, 2001 East Capitol Street, SE (adjacent to RFK Stadium) in Washington, DC. You will begin your shift before the packet pick-up table opens.

Responsibilities
- Assist runners who have corrections to their registrations.
- Make changes to information to be added to the database.
- Assist with traffic and quick changes.
- If necessary, assist applicants in registering for the race (limited number)
- Pass out meal vouchers to volunteers who qualify
- Keep track of time to ensure that doors are opened and closed on time and ensure that breakdown of room is orderly and completed by specified time.
Specific responsibilities for Friday morning shift
- If you are working shift one on Friday, you must post the Alpha Name List on the board in the registration area before Packet Pick-up begins. Ensure that the room is assembled properly and that connections are up and running before pick-up begins.

You will work with:
- MarathonGuide and Race Central representatives.
- NCOIC Soldier Team Leader to ensure that Soldier staff understands the instructions and completes the tasks assigned.
