Hooah Tent Zone

Walk the Avenues of the Army

The Hooah Tent Zone is where US Army units promote their commands and "Hooah Spirit" through displays. All divisions of the US Army, including Active Duty, National Guard and Army Reserve are represented.

With a party-like atmosphere, each tent showcases what makes the division unique. Everything from country music bands to Bratwursts have been known to make an appearance at the Hooah tents - which get increasingly more elaborate each year.

New 2010 Hooah Tent Policy

The purpose of Hooah Tents is to allow Army commands to support their running teams and showcase their Army spirit at the Army Ten-Miler. The demand for Hooah Tents has continued to increase over the years and the traditional ATM “first-come-first-serve” reservation policy has become obsolete.

A new Hooah Tent reservation policy is in effect for 2010. The major Army Active Duty, Army Reserve, and National Guard Commands have priority to apply for one Hooah tent in April. Subject to availability, these major Army commands can apply for a second tent in May beginning 7 May.

After ATM assigns tents, commands will have from 15 May until 30 Jun to make payment. Failure to submit payment will result in the forfeiture and reassignment of your Hooah tent.

After 30 Jun all remaining Hooah tents will be available to any military command, installation, or organization on “first-come-first-serve” basis. Payment must be within 30 days. Any unpaid tent will result in forfeiture and reassignment.

The 2010 Hooah Tent price is $795. This includes a 20x20 tent w/ wall panels, (4) 8ft tables, (10) chairs, (1) 20Amp quad box (four outlets), (1) spotlight, (2) trash receptacles, set-up, recovery, and trash removal. Additional electrical boxes, tables, chairs, and astro turf are available at an additional charge.
